Need to get away from the winter cold or just need a break from the ordinary and want to try something super fun in fitness for a weekend?
 
Get Away Weekend Fitness Fun: 
This is a unique fitness weekend get away that is all about challenging yourself, discovering your full potential and having FUN! Rejuvenate yourself through this structured program of exercise, nutrition, education and stretch relaxation.
 
getaway2At the start of the day we meet in beautiful Mission Bay. From there we will explore Mission Beach, Pacific Beach and surrounding areas. Where you will enjoy ocean front biking, Mission Bay kayaking and/or paddleboarding and of course the beautiful Southern California Beaches.
 
Hiking excursions include Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve in lovely La Jolla. This is a moderate 3 mile round trip hike where you will hike acres of oceanside/cliffside trails and you may occasionally have the opportunity to spot dolphins playing in the distance. It’s also rumored that Dr. Seuss use to frequent this area and that it was a source of inspiration for some of the drawings in his book.
 
Mt. Woodson Trail in woodsy Poway. This is a challenging 6.4 mile round trip hike that offers unusual rock formations, to include the famous Potato Chip Rock and views of downtown and the ocean.
 
Or for a milder version hike there is Cowles Mountain. A 3 mile vertical hike that offers a spectacular view of the entire San Diego city.
